Antique Georgian Sterling Silver Paul Storr Biggin / Coffee Kettle on Stand 1810

A magnificent antique George III solid silver Biggin by Paul Storr. The coffee kettle stands on a three footed stand with claw and shell feet with rings above the legs on the top band of the stand. The kettle has a rounded bottom and a concave form decorated with understated patterned bands around the body and neck. The kettle has a cream colored handle with pair of snake tailed curled from the bottom of the handle and a snake head and pair of wings from the top of the handle. The kettle has a large armorial engraved opposite the handle and the burner has a pair of small crests.

Made in 1810 by Paul Storr in London, England.

This Biggin on stand is in excellent condition with no damage. The handle has some surface cosmetic marks.

The kettle has a full clear set if English hallmarks, and the stand is hallmarked but somewhat rubbed.
