A lovely antique early Georgian silver gilt sugar box. This lidded sugar bowl has a delicate chased floral design and the lid features an impressive bird finial. The bowl stands on a chase spread pedestal foot.
Made in London in 1746 by Samuel Taylor.

This sugar bowl is in excellent condition. There is some minor rubbing to the gilding.
The sugar box has full English Hallmarks.
