A suite of three antique George III solid silver tureens comprising of a substantial soup tureen and a pair of sauce tureens. Each tureen has an elegant bellied circular form standing on four cast feet. The tureens feature cast and applied feet, substantial handles on the body and handle on the domed fitted lids. The tureens are embellished with wonderful Rocaille themed decoration with shell, scroll and foliate details enriching the exterior surfaces. The tureens each have a pair of substantial armorials engraved on either side of the body and a twin crests below an Earl's coronet on either side of the lids. Each tureen has its original solid silver liner.
