A pair of antique Georgian George III sterling silver sauce boats in a Classic Regency style design. These sauce boats have an oval form and each stands on an oval pedestal foot. The rim and foot of each gravy boat are embellished with a gadroon pattern border border additionally decorated with a scroll pattern at intervals. The scroll handles have acanthus leaf tops. Each gravy boat has an engraved crest below the spout. These sauce boats are of a substantial weight.
