Antique Georgian George III Silver Soup Tureen 1779 Serving Tableware

A classic Antique George III Georgian Sterling Silver Soup Tureen in an oval form with two substantial reeded loop handles. The Tureen stands on an oval spread foot and has an impressive domed lid with an oval finial. There is a crest engraved on the body of the Tureen and a smaller crest on the rim of the Lid.
Made in London in 1779 by Richard Carter, Daniel Smith & Robert Sharp.
