A beautiful solid silver mounted tigerware jug. This Jug has a tigerware body and a silver neck, handle and hinged lid. This Jug is made in the style of the original Elizabeth I Jugs pf the mid-late 1500s and is true to this style. The silver neck, lid and spread foot are all embellished with beautiful chased designs.

Made in Birmingham in 1920 by S. Blackensee & Sons.

Measures: Approximate height 24.5 cm

Signed/Inscribed: Full English Hallmarks on Neck and Foot, Part Marked on Lid.
