A beautiful pair of antique Victorian solid silver and cut glass claret jugs / wine jugs. These claret jugs have a long solid silver neck, scroll handle and hinged lid. The neck and collar are embellished with applied leaf, grape and vine designs mirrored on the grape and vine finial on the lid. The handles are formed to mirror vines.
Made in Birmingham in 1866 by Cartwright & Woodward
