Antique Victorian Sterling Silver and Cut Glass Claret Jug / Wine Decanter, 1881

A lovely Antique Victorian solid Silver mounted Claret Jug with a clear glass body. The Claret Jug is decorated with band of ornate chased designs on the upper and lower parts of the body. The Jug has a plain domed hinged lid with a small crest engraved at the top. The body of the Claret Jug has a lovely star pattern etched into the glass.

Made in London in 1881 by George Fox.

Approx. Height - 27.8cm

This Wine Jug is in excellent condition with no damage.

The Jug has a clear full English Hallmark on the Neck.
