A magnificent set of 12 George III Sterling Silver Gilt Dinner Plates. These shaped round Plates have an elegant ribbon and reed border and each has an engraved crest on the rim. The set had a gilded finish.
Made in London in 1787 by John Wakelin & William Taylor.

Approx. Diameter - 23.5cm / 9 1/4 inches
These Dinner Plates are in excellent condition with no damage and very good quality gilding.
Each Plate has a full English Hallmark.
