A magnificent William III Antique solid Silver Punch Bowl with an original removable silver collar, allowing for use as a traditional punch bowl or as an elegant serving bowl. The Bowl is typical of the period although notably large, and is elegantly un-adorned, decorated only with a chased foot, a shell and scroll border on the crown, the handles are stylised lion heads. The Bowl has a wonderful patina commensurate with age and use, making it an exceptional piece.

This Bowl is fully hallmarked on the body and part marked on the collar and handles.

Made in London in 1701 by George Lewis.
