A classic antique George II solid silver lidded tankard. This silver Georgian Quart tankard has an impressive domed hinged lid with a shaped thumb piece and a substantial scroll handle. The Tankard has a traditional baluster shape with an applied band around the body and stands on a spread foot.
Made in London in 1754 by Thomas Whipham I.
