A magnificent and rare set of 16 Antique solid Silver Musician Table Ornaments / Figures. This Orchestra of Figures is a modern re-imagining of Renaissance Novelty Beakers in the form of figures. These figures have removable ribbon tired ruffled collars exposing an open beaker. Each figure is topped with a sprung 'bobble head'. Each figure is seated on an ornate chair playing variety of instruments including string instruments, horns and drums. There are a pair of conductors holding music books. The figures are all seated on matching chairs with matching rotund bodies but there is a wide range of faces, hairstyles, and hats, couples with the range of instruments makes the range diverse and utterly charming.
The Figures range in size from 17cm - 19.5cm.

Seven with import marks (six for Berthold Muller, five London 1900, one Chester 1906, and one with importers marks E T Bryant, London 1900) the remaining nine with crown/crescent marks and stamped '835'.
This set is in excellent condition with no damage.
