A magnificent Austrian antique silver centrepiece jardinière on plateau. This oval bowl stands on a substantial mirrored oval plateau tray, both of which can be used as an impressive centrepiece, or separately as a bowl or tray. The jardinière is supported by four cherubs and stands on four scroll feet. The sides of the jardinière are embellished with floral and foliate swags.
Made in Austria in circa 1900.
The Jardiere is solid silver, & the plateau is solid silver mounted with mirror on a wooden base. The liner of the jardinière is marked Alpacca.
