A magnificent set of four George I Sterling Silver Candlesticks. These Candlesticks feature round bases with a shell and foliage border surrounding sunken wells. The Candlesticks have shaped octagonal columns with portraits on the shoulders. The underside of each Candlestick are engraved with the numbers inscribed No 1, No 3, No 4 and No 5.

Made in 1725 (George I) in London by Arthur Dickens.

The engraved arms are those of Mansell impaling Hervey, for Bussy, 4th Baron Mansell and his first wife Lady Betty, daughter of John, 1st Earl of Bristol.
