A beautiful classic Charles II silver oval shaped tobacco box with a large engraving on the lid. The cover is engraved with the arms of Hitchcock of Preshute, Wiltshire, crest of another. The base of the box is plain silver.

Made in London in 1762, makers mark R.S.
