A gorgeous Antique Austrian Moss Agate and Silver Gilt Casket. This Box has a faceted octagonal shape as the panels of agate are mounted in an elegant silver gilt frame. The Casket stands on 8 ornate feet featuring a mythical creature blowing on a Horn above a scroll design.
This Casket / Box was made in Austria in circa 1880.
