1848 London
A pair of Impressive Antique Victorian Silver Comports with magnificent Silver Bases supporting elegant cut glass dishes. The Silver Bases each show a mythological style figure - one of a woman with a lamb beside her and a young man with a goat. The figures are each depicted resting on a thick grape vine and the vine branches reach up to support the dish on a canopy of vine leaves and grapes.

These comports are of exceptional quality and a great deal of attention has been paid to the detailing on the figures.
