An impressive Antique George III Solid Silver Beer Mug / Tankard. This Tankard has an unusual bellied band around the base of the body, deviating from the traditional straight sided design. This bellied band allows for an increased capacity while remaining elegant. The Mug has a spread base and a substantial scroll handle with an engraved monogram opposite.

Made in Newcastle, England in 1774 by John Langlands.
