An unusual Antique Georgian George III Sterling Silver Tea Caddy Box in a clean, square form in the style of a traditional Chinese Tea Chest. Each of the exterior surfaces features an engraved silver border surrounding stylised "plank" designs. Each side and the lid feature an engraved Chinese Pseudo Characters and the hinged lid has a finial in the shape of a tea flower obscuring the Chinese Character. The Box has a lock mechanism, but not key. The interior of the lid features an ornate engraved initial E.
