A pair of classic George I early Georgian Cast Sterling Silver Taper Candlesticks / Tapersticks with hexagonal stepped spread bases. Each Taper Stick features an hexagonal knopped column and each has a small crest engraved on the base. These Tapersticks are quintessentially Georgian in their design and are a wonderful example of Georgian Design. Date - 1716. Made in London. Maker - Thomas Merry. Approx. Total Weight - 218g Approx. Height - 11.8cm Approx. Diameter of Base - 7.6cm
