PAIR ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SILVER WINE CLARET JUGS DECANTERS 1887

An impressive Pair of Antique Victorian Solid Silver & Cut Glass Claret Jugs. The Jugs have a Solid Silver Neck, Lid & Handle. The Neck features a detailed chased design showing Bacchus' Face surrounded by grapes. The lid has a beautiful finial showing a Lion rampant holding a monogrammed shield in his paws. The body of the jug has panels of hobnailed cut glass alternating withe tched leaf, grape and vine designs. Made in Birmingham in 1887 by Beresford & Co. Approx. Height - 30.4cm Approx.
