A lovely George III Antique Sterling Silver Set of Two Tea Caddies and a matching Sugar Bowl. Each piece in this elegant set have a classic baluster shape and stand on a chased spread foot. Each piece is embellished with an ornate floral and foliate design and each has a shaped cartouche on one side with a crest engraved inside. The Tea Caddies are slightly shorter and narrower than the Sugar Bowl. Each piece has a chased push fit lid with an lovely finial. Made in London in 1760 by Lewis Herne & Francis Butty. Approx. Total Weight - 770g / 24.76oz Approx. Height Tea Caddy - 15cm Approx. Height Sugar Bowl - 15.5cm
