August 22, 2019 9:21 amA magnificent Antique Solid Silver Model of a Capercaillie. This Silver Model shows a male Capercaillie on display with spectacular spread tail and wings. The Capercaillie stands on a branch which is supported by an impressive chased silver base, embellished with little creatures below the branch – lizards, tortoise and snail.
This Model Bird was made in Germany in c. 1890.
