PAIR MONUMENTAL BRITANNIA SOLID SILVER TANKARDS 1909 / 12 17th CENTURY STYLE

A spectacular pair of Solid Silver Tankards created as copies of 17th century William & Mary Presentational Tankards. These massive Tankards are created in 950 Britannia Standard Silver in a classic 17th century style with tapering straigt sides and a spread foot. The Tankards have substantian scroll handles topped with impressive hinges. Each Tankard is topped with a cast model of a lion in a resting position.
Made in 1909 – 1912.
